Buildingweb has extensive experience assisting organizations through the implementation process of integrating building condition information, related budgets, and other documentation into our platform. Fees for these services are customized for each client. Additional consulting services can include any of the following:
BCA/PCA Selection Process: We do not perform building condition audits or property condition assessments. We can help manage the auditing process by coordinating with experienced local engineers who know your market, know your buildings, and know the local economy. This includes writing the RFP (request for proposal) to maximize the experience of the engineers to identify and populate the database, inviting qualified bidders, and overseeing the implementation process. The result is more cost-effective building audits and more support for your local businesses.
Develop and Implement New Methodologies: The "master reference" section is designed to capture component-specific methodologies and guidelines that need to be made available across the building stock. This allows for consistent project repair approaches and alternatives. Buildingweb can work with you to establish these corporate guidelines and standard methodologies.
Configure Buildingweb: We will configure Buildingweb to be ready for your consultants and staff to use. This can include setting up building 'templates' and portfolios. Establishing the 'templates' for each building type can further guide your staff and outside consultants to provide consistent descriptions, recommendations, and budgets.
Database Population: We have experienced engineers and programmers that can perform the database population from existing databases or audit reports. The ideal situation is to have the BCA consultant to populate the database for you.
Application Customization: We are software developers and have extensive experience in developing client-specific customizations and integrating our database with others.
"Web based 24/7 access to major project records, the capital plan and more. Facilitates effective communication between managers and board members which is critical. BuildingWeb has been instrumental in supporting crucial short and long term planning over the last few years to identify, capture, prioritize, and understand a property's capital needs. The ability to instantly forecast the impact of reallocation of large reserve expense items in line with reality as a property matures and Boards evolve is unique, valuable and a verifiable win-win."
